3 Star, Superior Tourist Class Modern Hotel
The hotel is situated very near two of Paris' main train stations; a five minutes walk from the Gare de l'Est, and five more from the Gare du Nord. In the same street you will find a few international restaurants, cafes and shops as you get closer to the stations. The metro will take you directly to the lovely and typically Parisian areas of Le Marais, Notre Dame and St Germain des Pr?s.
Rooms are medium in size and in good condition.They are traditionally decorated with simple dark wood furniture which, with a dark beige carpet and red or blue colour schemed covers, warm up the cream walls of these bright rooms. The white tiled bathrooms are well equipped as well as the rooms, but with no closed cupboards in either. The breakfast room is very spacious, with no special decoration, but still modern and bright. For lunch and dinner, guests can find different restaurants and cafes close by.
The hotel has been recently renovated and is housed in a modern, 8 storey building. The lobby is quite large with a beige marble-like floor. It is open plan, leading to the reception desk and to the waiting room on the left (well lit and brightened by plants and orange sofas), then on to the breakfast room on the right and to the bar in the far right corner. This 3 star hotel is considered a superior tourist class property. It is clean and modern but lacking in style. It is fifteen minutes by public transport to the heart of Paris.
